We have always been about family, homes, and happiness.
Hudson Companies, the parent company of Hudson Integrative, has been a family-owned and operated business since 1947. Hudson Companies began as homebuilders in Boulder, Colorado and as Boulder grew, so did we.
We’ve watched generations grow up in our homes. And that’s when we realized we had a second calling.
As a fourth-generation family-owned business, we’ve established long, valued relationships with the people who have purchased and lived in our homes. We watched them raise families, build community and enter their retirement years. As they moved along through life’s various stages, we began to notice that needs changed and certain features of their homes needed to change as well.
Hudson became a Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) to meet this growing need that was near to our hearts.
This Aging-In-Place certification meant that we could become experts at providing home modifications that are grounded in best practices and universal design—modifications that remove barriers and create new possibilities for people who want to continue to safely enjoy their homes into retirement age and beyond.
We knew home modifications were just the first step.
Having a great home environment was just the beginning of helping people live life fully and confidently at any age. We wanted to create an integrative model to promote health and independence. So we enlisted specialists in care management, nutrition, fitness, technology, and designed the iCare, iLive, and iLearn components of our program and Hudson Integrative was born. Today, our team is comprised of experts in each of these areas, and our program components—iAdapt, iLive, iLearn, and iCare—work together to empower our clients to enjoy healthy, independent lives in safer, more accessible homes.
Our motto also serves as the goal for all we do. We are here for you and your family to make sure you get to live:
