The Hudson Integrative Functional Fitness Program is a necessity in maintaining a healthy body, especially as we age. There are many inevitabilities throughout the aging process, but there are also several things we can do to achieve more mobility, stability, strength and independence. Through observing how your body moves during the initial assessment, your Functional Fitness Specialist will be able to recognize any lack in efficiency that could be contributing to compensatory, and often painful, movement patterns. From there, your specialist will develop a program that will help you work towards your specific goals and better understand what your body needs. Through neuromuscular training we can teach the body how to move more efficiently and strengthen the muscles needed to do so, thereby correcting painful patterns, preventing future injury, and improving performance in everyday activities.

This program engages the brain, and empowers you to connect to and understand your body in a world where life tends to limit our mobility and burden our bodies with poor movement. Our specialists develop programs that consist of moves specific to your needs depending on your occupation, history of injury, favorite activities and other idiosyncrasies of your life and how you live. You learn how your work affects your body, and the ways in which you can take your independence into your own hands and ensure a safer, stronger and more active future.
